Ko wai mātou
Who Are we
The Te Atatū Marae Whānau Committee is a dedicated team committed to the generational vision of Te Atatū Marae, in Te Atatu Peninsula.
For 30+ years the committee has been Driven by principles of kotahitanga (unity) and manaakitanga (hospitality), working tirelessly to establish a space in Te Atatu Peninsula, that will serve as a cultural and community hub.
Focused on preserving te reo Māori, tikanga Māori, and whānau well-being, we’re laying the foundation for a marae that will empower future generations and strengthen community connections throughout Tamaki Makaurau and beyond.
